January 2007 marked the 10 th anniversary of the Bid Express service. This is an exciting milestone for our company, the agencies that trust in our technology and the contractors who use the service.

When Bid Express was established in 1997, we knew the service could make a large difference and that both agencies and contractors would reap the benefits. Yet we also knew that together we’d face the challenge of changing people’s minds about the bidding process and convincing them to switch from tedious, paper-based methods to the paperless approach. Today, more than 3,000 contractors and half of the US state transportation agencies are using Bid Express, with several more agencies completing implementation in 2007.

Thank you for believing in our team and our technology. We held an internal celebration and during our festivities, we thanked the many agencies and contractors who use Bid Express every day and thus helped make the service such a big success. We look forward to continuing to serve you during our second decade of Internet bidding!
