This project would relocate one existing mooring dolphin
and associated access gangway structures at the Whittier
ferry terminal to accommodate the new Alaska Class Ferry
(ACF) vessel. Work would also include refurbishing a
transfer bridge floor beam connection located near the
abutment end and miscellaneous structural work including:
girder access hatch repairs, transfer bridge deck holdown
repairs, and repair of dolphin fender brackets.
